Palo Alto Networks, who are a network security company, were looking to expand and relocate their corporate headquarters from their previous location at 232 E. Java drive in Sunnydale where the available space was limited to just 35,000 ft.². This proved insufficient to accommodate the company and its future needs, and according to Mike Haro, Director of Communications, Palo Alto Networks was approaching the end of its lease. He says “The incredible rate of our company’s expansion has surpassed everyone’s expectations. The vision for the company’s new HQ is to support accelerated growth, customer service, research and development and recruiting efforts.

Project management and relocation planning was overseen by Robin Weckesser, CresaPartner’s Principal, Bay Area Project Management Group, and Doug Schmitt, Project Director.

According to Weckesser, CresaPartners   worked with Palo Alto Network’s internal team to help achieve optimal space efficiency, more natural lighting, flexible space planning and also to lower workstation heights for improved workforce collaboration. Other benefits include better use of meeting space, which should help promote employee interaction and communication, and building top and monuments signage. The new building also has ample on-site parking and excellent Highway 101 visibility, and of course all operations are now under one roof.

Brady said it was gratifying for CresaPartners to be able to offer integrated corporate services and said “We strive to provide seamless planning and execution, and this was a great example of all the pieces coming together.”

CresaPartners is the largest tenant representation firm in North America, and it specializes in the delivery of fully integrated real estate services.
