By Allison Halliday | July 19, 2013

Both homes are 3439 ft.² and have four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. They've been labeled the "greenest homes in Arizona," and have eco-friendly upgrades that have been proven to save 74% in energy costs each month in comparison with a more traditional home. These green features include an energy-efficient HVAC system, spray polyurethane foam insulation, a hybrid water heater, LED lighting, and dual pane Low-E Windows. These villas aren't short on luxury as they've been fitted with granite slab countertops, Sub- Zero and Wolf appliances, custom cabinetry, exotic wood and stone floors, iron stair railings, custom wire brushed beam ceilings, 10 foot ceilings, a full masonry fireplace, professionally designed walk-in closets, a Jacuzzi bath tub in the master bathroom, his and hers bathroom vanities, and a private two-car garage. These luxury homes even include a wine room.

The homes are controlled by four iPads that are installed throughout the property and which can control the security systems and home automation. Owners will have the ability to remotely control numerous different elements including window coverings, audio, lighting, video, the security and even the temperature in the wine room. In addition, Sterling at Silverleaf has developed a propriety Eco--Mode App with Crestron.  The App is able to dim the lighting in the home to 85% of full power levels, giving homeowners an automatic saving of 50% of the energy bill.

Nathan Day, president of Sterling Connection Development Group, said "Our community is unlike anything in Arizona-these are luxury homes where all the custom features, upgrades and appliances come standard while also combining the highest level of green living. When you add in the prestigious community of Silverleaf and the approachable price point, you just can't find that anywhere else."

The community at Sterling at Silverleaf consists of 16 villas that have been designed by the world renowned architect Bing Hu, and which has been developed by Scottsdale-based Sterling Collection Development Group. Phase two of Sterling will begin later on this year and there are plans to build an additional 12 luxury villas that will start at $2.2 million.

Day went on to say "I'm overwhelmed with how the market has responded to our homes. We feel like we timed things perfectly and offered a product that exceeds everything else in the market. The success of phase one has allowed us to expand our offering and begin phase two, where we hope to have the same success."
