Consumers enter the Search Alliance™ network through any member IDX site and stay in the network while searching for homes anywhere in the country. In addition to their own marketing efforts to drive consumers to their websites and capture leads at no cost, agents can leverage the power of Search Alliance’s cooperative marketing to acquire network-generated traffic using an auction-style market order system that allows members to purchase traffic at the best available price.

To use the system, members draw a boundary on a map to identify their market or “service area” from where they wish to receive traffic and leads.  To pay for traffic, members establish a marketing budget and set their maximum bid price.  All orders are then filled as quickly as possible at the best available price, based on the available traffic volume. Members can set their own monthly or periodic marketing budgets and pay as traffic and lead orders are filled from the network.
