Homesnap takes home buying/selling to the next level on the Apple Watch

By Violeta-Loredana Pascal | June 24, 2015

As gadgets become more and more interconnected and multifunctional, real estate companies and realtors struggle to be among the first to take advantage of the opportunities provided by technology.

Homesnap Apple Watch

Homesnap - Apple Watch

Named the most addictive real estate app by HGTV Magazine in 2014, Homesnap jumped on the Apple Watch bandwagon and was available from its official launch. People interested in buying a home have all the information they need at their wrist, while real estate professionals can benefit from getting their properties available to more potential customers on a variety of gadgets and mobile devices (the app is also available for tablets and smartphones.)

Homebuyers have access to various details about the closest homes from their location available for sale: from high resolution interior photos to various relevant details: number of beds, year built, baths, etc. Homesnap Pro agents have access to additional information such as listing agent contact information, showing instructions and more. A real plus for realtors is the fact that the Homesnap for Apple Watch is integrated with Homesnap Pro’s Safety Timer, the feature that allows an agent to set a timer when he or she arrives at a showing. If this alarm is not stopped after a period of time, Homesnap issues a text alert to the agent’s emergency contacts, providing them with the agent’s current location and cell number. The agents also have the posibility to set a Distress Alert in one tap alerting their contacts that the he or she is in danger. Safety before everything, right?

Now, you might ask yourself why showing this big interest to the Apple Watch and its app, and I’m going to tell you: simple: because your potential clients are there. Homesnap is an app that has already been embraced by an impressive number of real estate professionals and users. Yes, agents all over the USA are using it to promote their properties, to get a chance at having their listings popping in the homebuyers eyes while using the app.

Apple is a company that brought some important technological innovations, and its products always generate a huge interest from users – remember those photos from across the globe with people waiting in front of shops just to be among the first who buy the latest iPhone? The Apple Watch generated a lot of interest as well, and it is only natural to see what top real estate apps are available also for this device.

Being where your clients are and providing them with valuable information, helping them to make the best decision when buying a home is the key to generate sales and get recommendations. Homebuyers will always appreciate relevant data and pictures from the homes you manage, and if they are accessible on any of the devices they use, that’s even better.
