Next month Ian Black Real Estate, in cooperation with Auction World USA, will launch the first of its kind commercial real estate auction in Sarasota. The auction will take place on Wednesday, April 10 at 1 PM in a new events facility, The Francis on Palm Avenue in Sarasota.

Ian Black, president of the Sarasota-based commercial real estate firm said "No one has done this type of event in Sarasota before. We formed a strategic alliance with Auction World USA because of its solid, award-winning reputation. This will be a tremendous buying opportunity for people who attend." Both company heads are in full agreement that auctions can serve to be a true market indicator.

The auction will feature between 12 and 17 properties, and buyers will not pay a buyer's premium. Registration for the event on April 10 is set to begin at noon, and complimentary refreshments will be served.
