Some of the Top Realtors in Memphis Revealed

By Brian Kline | July 1, 2014

Although still affordable, the Memphis residential real estate market continues growing in value. As the Memphis real estate market continues to surge, the 6% increase in home values for 2012 slowed to a 2.5% growth in 2013 but is expected to ramp back up to 3.1% in 2014. Based on housing permit filings, employment, and home prices, Memphis is rated as first among the ten top cities for real estate deals in the nation. For sellers, the news just gets better as prices continue to rise due to a reduction in foreclosures, a stronger demand, and tighter inventory. For buyers, Memphis remains an attractive market because the cost of living in Memphis is 10% below the national average, low property taxes, no state income tax, and the median home values in Memphis are still affordable at $66,900.

"We had the BEST experience with the Wallace team. We chose them based on their reviews and quickly saw why they are rated so well. Our house sold immediately. We were worried we might not find a home in time or that we would have to settle. Not only did we find a home, but it is literally our dream home AND at a dream price!" - Erica

Another Memphis Top Realtor

As a RE/MAX agent having sold more than $21 million is real estate in 2013, it clearly sets Jennifer Carstensen out as an expert realtor in the Memphis area. Her sales for the past year come to 121 closed deals. Focusing on complete satisfaction, Jennifer's team uses a concierge service approach. Here is what one of her clients says about Jennifer and her team:

"Jennifer did an outstanding job listing and selling my house. Jen and her team showed the house regularly through out the cold months. She guided me through the arduous process of negotiating the contract and getting the deal closed. Contact and communication were excellent. Jen and her team are a class act, they earn every penny of their commission. I would highly recommend Jen to anyone wanting to buy or sell in the Memphis area."

Whether you are a buyer, seller, or an investor, not only does Memphis have something to offer you but also you'll have the opportunity of working with some of the top realtors in the nation.
