Buying Is More Affordable Than Renting In Most Cities



Buying is still more affordable than renting in the majority of U.S. housing markets, according to a new analysis.

RealtyTrac Reveals Top 10 Most Expensive Rental Markets



Believe it or not, it’s actually more affordable to buy a home than to rent one in the US. The average 2015 fair market rent in the 25 least affordable markets is $1,686, according to RealtyTrac.

Back On Track: 96% Of Markets Have Improved Since 2010



A new report by RealtyTrac shows that 96 percent of the counties that they track are better off than they were four years ago. But still, there’s a ways to go in the housing market, with only 8 percent of the 410 U.S. counties analyzed faring better than they did during the housing boom eight years ago.
