Founded by Harold Crye and Dick Leike, the company offers clients expertise in buying, selling, renting, international resettlement, property management, commercial, insurance, mortgage, title, auction, and corporate relocation services. 

Crye-Leike Real Estate Services, which is a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, recently announced its best year ever in 2021. Currently, the 10th biggest firm in the United States, Crye-Leike has sustained positive growth throughout its history, even in the toughest years. 

According to the company’s more recent news, agents generated some $8.9 billion in sales volume and closed 32,499 transactions. Overall, this was a 19% sales increase over 2020’s numbers. On the announcement, Harold Crye had this to say via the company’s press release:

Leadership Profiles

The CEO of Crye-Leike is Harold Crye, who co-founded the company with his partner Dick Leike, back in 1977. He began his career in real estate in 1973 working for a Memphis firm after graduating from Arkansas State University. Within 3 years of the founding of the firm, the company had become the largest real estate firm in Memphis.

By 1992 they expanded operations into the Middle Tennessee real estate market, becoming the largest firm in Nashville within a year.

Crye is the past president of the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS®, and a founding member and current member of the Board of Directors of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®Crye also dedicates his time to numerous civic interests, including the Boy Scouts of America, Arkansas State University, Youth Villages, and The Realty Alliance.
