Being a professional property stager it is amazing that agents do not suggest staging every property. It not only benefits the seller, it benefits them! Great article, and clear stats, thank you.

As a Stager for 10 years and now making a transition to Real Estate, I love seeing articals like this. Staging does work! Crazy how some agents are a bit intimadated to tell their customers to do even the simplest things to improve their property for sale. If you can't bring yourself to say anything hire a Home Stager, really, it helps everyone. Our goal should be to have all properties show at its best.

Thank you for writing and publishing a well-done article on a topic that can be difficult to quantify accurately. As real estate stagers, we don't often get to see compiled figures on the opinions of our primary clients, (directly or indirectly), the Realtor.
As stagers, we know the challenges Realtors can face with every listing and transaction. This type of info helps us tailor our services and our approach to help Realtors and in effect, help us grow our staging businesses. Thank you.

Great information. I'm assuming that the $675 average cost for Staging refers to occupied homes vs. vacant homes where furniture and accessories need to be brought in.
