Elite Pacific Properties, Hawaii’s largest luxury brokerage and vacation rental firm with offices on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island, has expanded into the Commercial Property Management arena by taking on a full portfolio of seven commercial properties including office and retail space. In all, Elite is now managing 182,000 total square feet of commercial properties statewide including Ko’olau Center, the Wolter Building, Pottery Terrace, and others.
“This is a significant expansion,” said Charlotte Sherwood, who recently joined Elite as the company’s Director of Property Management. Charlotte manages Elite’s property management division, which includes single family and condominium rentals, estate management, multi-family buildings, commercial property, and all non-vacation rental property management business statewide.
Paul Mayer, Managing Partner of Elite Pacific Properties, said, “Expanding into commercial property management is a natural progression of our company, and Charlotte is the right person to lead the effort. She has more than 20 years of residential and commercial experience.
“To help us expand, Charlotte will be bringing on seasoned property managers. Following our unique business model on the residential real estate side of our business, we offer property managers the same suite of services that our real estate agents enjoy such as superior technology, marketing, administrative, and accounting support,” he said.
The seven commercial properties now under management were formerly managed by Bishop Street Commercial, which dissolved. David Yamada moved over to Elite as Director of Commercial Asset Services to provide continuity to the clients.
David Yamada has a solid background of real estate management, construction management, and leasing expertise. He has experience managing large industrial parks; agricultural lots; and commercial, retail, and residential properties throughout Hawaii and Southern California.
Cathy Clark, Real Estate Services Manager, and Violeta Martin, Commercial Accountant, also joined Elite after moving over from Bishop Street Commercial.
Elite’s Commercial Property Management Division is located in the former Bishop Street Commercial office at the Davies Pacific Center in downtown Honolulu.
