iMate Apple Docking, Synching & Charging Station Exceeds Kickstarter Goal in 1 Day

iMate, an all-in-one docking station attracted a lot of interest on Kickstarter, more than achieving its goal in a single day. With iMate, users can plug, charge and sync all Apple devices at the same time using a dual Type-C power delivery docking station.

The docking station is suitable for use with a MacBook, MacBook Pro 13 inch and 15-inch, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPad pro. It comes with an Apple certified Apple watch charger. During the first 24 hours on Kickstarter, iMate exceeded its $20,000 campaign goal. Created by Grenoplus, a consumer technology company that manufactures consumer electronics with a focus on Apple accessories, iMate has been designed with a “less is more” concept. iMate is able to fit with the MacBook and MacBook Pro like a natural extension and is matched in aesthetics and color.

Grenoplus founder, Alex Chan said “The response we’ve received so far on Kickstarter shows consumers are ready for iMate, which was created to make the lives of MacBook and Apple device owners easier and hassle-free. iMate offers the perfect, affordable and more convenient solution to the extra costs of purchasing multiple dongles and hubs for Apple products.” Additionally, the device is more convenient when traveling, rather than having to carry multiple accessories.

Compared with existing docking products, iMate offers some significant improvements, especially where a lack of power prevents ports from being used. While a hub may have three ports or more, not all will receive sufficient power to charge the connected devices. iMate has solved this problem. It offers users dual charging functionality because it’s equipped with PD Fast Charge suitable for all series of MacBook, MacBook Pro, iPhone and iPad. Its use isn’t limited to Apple devices as iMate allows you to charge and sync at high speed with 2X USB ports, HDMI 4K Ultra and SD Card Reader.

Currently, it is possible to purchase iMate at an early-bird discounted price during crowdfunding by visiting the page on Kickstarter.
