Meravista: The New Marketplace for Algarve Real Estate

Meravista is a new property website that is about to be launched, and is for people looking to purchase property in the Algarve.  It will cater for people looking for traditional homes all the way to those looking for contemporary villas.

This service is different from others as it has a unique map-based search function that allows users to zoom in on specific areas of the Algarve, where they will be able to see the range of properties for sale. The website will soon become available to browse in a number of different languages including German, Dutch and Spanish.

The founder Anita Van Huson explained:

"We created Meravista because we saw there was a large gap in the Algarve property market for a site that provided buyers with a simple way to search for property online. Looking for the ideal home shouldn't be difficult! That's why we set up our innovative map-based search, which allows users to see more than just the property online. It lets you see the area in which your potential new home is located. There are a number of mandatory fields to fill in on the website, so property seekers can refine the search to include specific preferences like whether the property boasts a pool and parking."

So far more than 90 property agencies in Portugal have signed up to the online property portal, and there are already thousands of properties in the Algarve just waiting to be discovered on the interactive map. The site also has a number of other features that make it stand out from its competitors, and which make it easier for property hunters to use. Property hunters are able to compare their favorite properties side-by-side, and can see full property details without having to navigate to another page. They can save favorite properties on their profile, and can save searches for another time.

Ms. Van Huson went on to say:
