Pamela Anderson Denies Real Estate Promotion Failure

By Mike Wheatley | June 30, 2011

Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson's agent has lashed out at a well known real estate entrepreneur after he filed a counter-lawsuit against the actress, claiming that she failed in her duty to promote his condominium's sale.

Anderson, more famous for her role as a large-chested lifesaver than her marketing skills, originally filed a lawsuit against Laurence Hallier in February of this year, complaining that she had made a deal with the investor to promote the sale of his Panorama Towers development in Las Vegas, in return for ownership of one of the luxury condos.

Further, the actress alleges that Hallier had promised to pay her $1 million if the property was not built according to the schedule they had agreed. Miss Anderson says that Hallier has failed to honor their deal, and owes her reparations.

Hallier however, decided to contest the issue, launching a counter-lawsuit against the star, saying she failed to carry out any promotion work as agreed, and blaming her for losing him an estimated $22.5 million in units that remain unsold.

But the actresses' lawyer has slammed Hallier's claims, as well as his assertion that Hallier and Anderson were lovers when the deal was agreed. He told that Contactmusic website that:

"Pamela Anderson is no more responsible for the failure of this real estate project than she is responsible for the 2008 real estate downturn or the collapse of Lehman Brothers,”

He also labelled the counter-claim as nothing more than an attempt by Hallier to gain publicity, saying that the entrepreneur was simply enjoying himself spreading rumors that he and Miss Anderson were romantically involved at the time she was supposed to be promoting his London, Las Vegas and Los Angeles real estate projects, which have all failed.
