We’ve bought and sold several homes and we make it a point ot use only full time agents that earn their living in real estate. The idea that it might cost us a bit more to use a professional as opposed to an agent that doesn’t have a grasp of the current market or worse, one that simply tells us what they expect we want to hear, is crazy. The difference ends up being minimal and is often made up in negotiating the deal. He is spot on, a skilled agent is invaluable in the current market.
