Real estate analytics firm Terradatum acquires two content startups

Terradatum, an analytics provider for real estate, has acquired two Schweickart, Inc. companies, called VScreen and OnHoldUSA.

VScreen specializes in real estate video content, such as videos made from stitching together a listing’s photos and property data. OnHoldUSA offers voice messaging services used in everything from videos to phone messaging.

“Analytics that Terradatum provides through BrokerMetrics and its other services are critically important content that elevates a brokerage’s ability to better execute its business strategy,” says Mark Spraetz, CEO of Terradatum.

Spraetz went on to explain that both firms offer multimedia content services with tools that can elevate a brokerag’s marketing efforts in a similar fashion. He noted that great content seeks to engage a person with the brand, and that means educating and engaging users and offering utility across the spectrum of digital marketing.

“The combination of analytics and marketing content will be a differentiator for our clients,” Spraetz added.

Stephen Schweickart, CEO of Schweickart, Inc. said that Terradatum was growing to become an important player in the market as brokerages realize the need to integrate video and audio marketing content into their sales strategies.

“VScreen and OnHoldUSA both offer turnkey content solutions that are affordable and require minimal technical effort to deploy,” Schweickart said. “Terradatum provides service to thousands of real estate offices across the country and we’re excited to further leverage our synergies together.”

Vscreen - which has had a data and technology partnership with Terradatum since 2011 - offers consumer-centric video content and technology, including Community Videos. It is the parent company of ListingVideos.com, VidBrander.com and the patent pending MarketVideos.com. OnHoldUSA offers the apartment industry a voice messaging telecom solution.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
