Rentenna.com is a free rental tool that handily condenses everything a renter could want to know about the rental building into a single score. It now has over 15,000 apartment buildings rated in Philadelphia, and has included several new scores such as school scores and food delivery scores.

Rentenna

Rentenna offers users a data-driven apartment search facility, and has more than 2,500 available rental listings live in Philadelphia. The company was originally based in NYC but this innovative start-up has been gaining momentum due to its proprietary apartment scoring algorithm, unique features, sleek interface and its accurate listings. In the past 12 months the firm has been covered in The New York Times, Curbed, The Wall Street Journal, Crain's New York, and many real estate publications and blogs. Rentenna also made AGBeat’s "60 Genius Brands to Watch" list.

People looking to rent in Philadelphia can now explore city specific data and can gain access to many useful facts, such as which restaurants will deliver to a specific address. Block Score is available from Rentenna partner, BlockAvenue.com and gives details on restaurants, bars and crime data on a particular block. The School Score allows renters to assess the quality of the public schools in the area. This is all in addition to Rentenna’s amenity and value scores that allow users to compare thousands of historical apartment listings.

The average rental pricing in Philadelphia for studio is currently $850, while a one-bedroom apartment will cost $1,275, a two-bedroom costs $1,675, and a three bedroom apartment rental is $2,350. Experienced Philadelphia renters will not be surprised to learn that the top five most expensive neighborhoods are Logan Square, University City, Rittenhouse Square, Society Hill and Old City. According to Rentenna, the most searched for neighborhoods are Rittenhouse Square, Old City, Morrell Park, University City, and Northern Liberties.

Rentenna co-founder Alicia Schwartz explains "Listed in BusinessWeek as one of the best cities for new grads and one of my personal favorite cities, Philadelphia is an important city to our demographic. As a result, we have been working hard on adding inventory and new compelling data points. We are excited for Rentenna to become the new rental staple for Philadelphia renters."

Rentenna is an interactive apartment research and comparison tool that rates buildings on a scale of 1 to 99. This helps people looking for an apartment to sort through the thousands of options quickly and efficiently so they can find their ideal rental.
