RentVest Named to 2016 Inc. 5000

By Allison Halliday | August 30, 2016

RentVest Property Management, formerly Gentry Real Estate Group, was named as one of America’s 5,000 fastest growing companies. It is attributing the award at least in part to its rapid expansion into Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas and Dallas within just one month of launching.

Other Inc. 5000 companies that made the list include Intuit, Under Armour, GoPro, Microsoft, Timberland, Patagonia, Oracle and Clif Bar, all of whom are household names. Other well-known powerhouses on the 2016 list include Yeti Cooler, Square, Ipsy and Dollar Save Club. Requirements for being on this list are for companies to be privately held, for-profit, based in the US, and independent and they must have generated revenue by March 31, 2012. These companies need to have generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2012 and to have generated at least $2 million in revenue in 2015.

RentVest

RentVest’s founders, Spencer Caldwell and Jacob Ash were able to meet these criteria, placing the company 2539 out of the country’s 5000 fastest growing companies. The company is continuing to grow exponentially, as there is nationwide demand for affordable, innovative and customer-centric property management firms. The company now plans to expand into 20 markets throughout North America by 2020. RentVest was founded and established in 2007 as Gentry Real Estate Group and was renamed in 2016, promoting its full-service Property Management services specializing in high-performance property and tenant management. RentVest uses innovative technology that has enabled it to establish an unprecedented menu of customer service practices, providing a worry free experience for property owners.

From 2007 to 2016, the company has established itself as the premier buyer of auction homes and provider of property management services in Arizona, pioneering the development of auction-based home acquisitions for investors, selling 13,000 homes at auction. As a result, it has sold billions in the real estate market. The company provides personal, one-to-one assistance and consultations to clients regarding their real estate investments. As it is able to drive revenue from multiple client sources not utilized by competitors, RentVest has upended the traditional property management model with a synergistic approach that incorporates training, education and leadership.

The company attributes its success to focusing on positive communication, team support and its dedication to 3 principles that include commitment to customers and clients as a full-service property management company, and the formation of happy and successful relationships combined with responsibility to associates and co-workers to strive for success as a team.

Caldwell said “We are honored to be named to the 2016 Inc. 5000, and gratified that our efforts to combine innovation and exceptional services to our clients has been acknowledged by such an esteemed organization as Inc. Media.”
