REscour is the Google Maps for real estate investors

By Mike Wheatley | October 31, 2017

Most people think that real estate is all about location, but they forget that visualization plays a very big role too.

Now, Atlanta-based REscour is available for real estate investors and brokers to zoom into markets not just to see the actual properties, but also information about those properties, as well as location-based news and more.

The platform is available for investors and brokers to zero in on properties of interest to find more relevant information about them, including local news, nearby listings and transactions, and more. The platform can provide greater insights into properties and markets all over the country, enabling brokers to track and share and analyze information that might be useful for their clients.

While most real estate data is saved in spreadsheets, REscour lays out its info via a map view (it’s kind of like Google Maps for realtors), with aggregated information that’s geolocated for the destination address users search.

REscour says the idea is to streamline communication between brokers and research teams in real-time. Information regarding specific properties can be saved on “property cards” for each listing, with data including things such as the owners’ name, number of units, taxes, assessments and more. Users can also add comments on the cards, enabling dialogue between different team members and investment partners.

REscour updates neighborhood information and news every hour, drawing news from more than 200 different sources, so users can stay fully informed of developments that matter to them. News includes topics such as new developments in the area, employer movement, nearby sales and so on.

The platform also features investment sales listings that are pulled from 80 of the country’s leading real estate brokers. This is ideal for investors looking for their first deal in a specific locale, the company says. The platform also offers sales comps that feature transaction data from internal sources and local county assessors.

REscour says users can also peek into the future, as it provides alerts to when new developments are starting up, including delivery dates, the number of units and the name of the developer.

Check out REscour’s website for more information on how it could benefit your real estate investment efforts.
