More celebrity homes news - NFL star Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen are once again trying to sell their luxury home, following a failed attempt at finding a buyer for the pied-a-terre back in 2009.
Brady, quarterback for the New England Patriots, has listed his posh Beacon Street penthouse at a reduced price of just $10.5 million, down from $10.9 million two years ago, says a report in Boston Business Journal.
Still expensive for sure, but then there is an awful lot more to this amazing two-storey vintage limestone manse, which boasts three bedrooms, three bathrooms and overlooks the Charles River…
For one thing, there’s the “Grand Living Area” on the second floor, complete with a pair of gas fireplaces and an adjoining marvy media room currently fitted out with thousands of dollars worth of high-end techie equipment, which probably won’t be included in the sale.
As for the kitchen, this is a culinista’s dream, featuring a huge central island and all the mod cons you could ever hope for. Alongside the kitchen, we have another living room with another fireplace, and from here a staircase winds its way up to a wonderfully landscaped roof deck with a second, outdoor kitchen, along with breathtaking views of the River Charles.
The master bedroom is massive, and comes complete with his-and-her’s dressing rooms, a deep soaking hot tub (said to be where Gisele gave birth to the couple’s young son Benjamin in 2009), and a steam shower, gas fireplace and separate vanities.
Also including in the deal is a huge garage with room for four vehicles.
On the downside though, the listing does mention the property’s annual taxes – a cool $73,214 a year, and then another $8,218.38 per month in condo fees. These do include utilities however!
Despite the fact that the property would make a lavish home for the most glamorous of couples, Tom and Gisele didn’t have much success trying to find a buyer back in 2009. So this time round they have decided to try their luck with a new agent – Allison Mazer of Gibson Sotherby’s International Realty is the lucky girl tasked with the posh Boston gaff.
