By Phil Butler | March 19, 2013

For those interesting in amazing rental properties worldwide, we receive weekly updates of exclusive properties from the International Association of Villa Rental Agents (IAVRA). Today a new property added in Siena, Tuscany, Italy is something we thought some readers might be interested in. This gorgeous 6 bedroom villa is surrounded by exquisite Tuscan vineyards, and is possessed of it's own brand of Italian charm any guest would revel in. Take a look at this fantastic villa rental.

First off, IAVRA is a unique subscription based database of exclusive properties around the world that clients can access via their web portal here. I covered this platform when it first arrived on the vacation rental scene back in 2011, but for those of you unfamiliar IAVRA is basically a conduit in between luxury rental agents, vacationers, and those vacationers' chosen travel agents worldwide. To understand a bit more how IAVRA provides value, all the reader need assume is that there is a huge value for travelers in renting villas worldwide, and that the B2B channels out there to connect consumers with villas is pretty disjointed.

The developers at IAVRA has essentially leveraged technology to provide the world of agents the most up to date tools and inventory. All that suggested, readers interested in the model should visit the IAVRA website, or watch the video I provide below. As for what you can expect over here in Europe by way of exclusive stays in Tuscany, for instance. Here is a brief rundown of the Siena property I mentioned.

Villa Allegra

Villa Allegra is suitable for up to 12 guests, this villa rents for $8,357 - 11,428 per week in the high season, the villa you see in these images might seem an extravagant expense for the average person. However, when compared to luxury hotel accommodations, or even your family's North American or even UK excursion to vacation-land, just do some easy math.

For those how have never been, Tuscany can get pretty hot during Spring and Summer, so your own wonderful pool overlooking the countryside makes for the perfect get together and cooling off spot night or day. The image below looks enticing to me, and it is just turning Spring here in Germany.

What do you picture yourself sharing with your family on a trip to Italy? How about dining al fresco overlooking Tuscany's world famous vineyards? You bet you do. This villa actually has several tables located in various nooks and crannies about the property to take meals outdoors. From the fire pit, to this quaint table beneath the vines, to a large dining table beneath the eaves, this place is pretty much the cliche vision of what Italian villas should be.

You are finally here, amid one of the most famous wine and growing regions anywhere in the world, you and your party. Recreation wise, Tuscany is probably best suited to sooth away the tight neck muscles of the typical workaholic  And to that end the villa has several spaces dedicated to relaxing all at once, or individually etc. Below you can envision two playing chess, 6 or 7 in conversation and relaxing with drinks, and even the kids running around out back through the window - though they'll probably be in the pool.

Dreaming of a Tuscan Night

A cool night of conversation, to follow an afternoon of exploration out an about Siena, maybe partaking of a lavish meal at Osteria Le Logge, with its excellent Tuscan cuisine in an old-world venue -  after all that sleep will be as welcome and rejuvenating as you might imagine any quiet country night. The guestroom below is indicative of the other 5 you and your guests will enjoy while at the villa. Six lavish bedrooms, 6 stylish baths, a separate guest house, multi-course and exquisite meals, and more all within earshot of Siena, Florence and most famous Tuscan villages.

Space and time prohibits me spelling out all the adventures to be had in and around medieval Siena, but for sure any visitor must take in the wine villages of Castellina, Radda and Gaiole. You can feel it, can't you? The warm Tuscan sun caressing your face, seeing the magnificence of such places as the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore? Well, if you can't you should. At least consider finding a four star hotel nearby, multiplying times your party, for a week, and then weighing value for value, will you? Oh, and if ever you wanted to be a travel agent, IAVRA opens up doors to over 4000 properties worldwide, why not get a commission, eh?

I know I was right. Enjoy.

Special Editor's note: Many thanks to the developers at IAVRA and to the listing agency Bravo Holiday Residence for helping us with images and info on this and other great villas.
