The Marquis Residences in Miami Florida is using the latest technology with a custom designed iPad app which is great for reaching buyers, many of whom are international.
As yet they are amongst a handful of properties who have realized the potential of this new technology, and it’s worth has already been proven by their impressive sales figures. During the first year of marketing the Marquis has sold 70% of the 292 units, which is way ahead of sales projections, and at least one buyer purchased their unit sight unseen, merely by using this application.
Susan Trevisa, a top producing agent at Marquis, is enthusiastic about this app and feels that it helps to keep her at the top of her game professionally as it makes it easy to send clients a comprehensive recap after a meeting.
The iPad app was designed especially for the Marquis by Evolution Ventures who are a real estate and technology company based in Miami. The app gives potential purchasers a 3-D interactive view into the building, and includes a whole raft of useful information about the property, amenities and location and about the surrounding neighborhoods. This helps purchasers get a real feel for the kind of lifestyle they could enjoy if they purchased a unit at the Marquis.
Another thing which agents love about this app is that they can tailor the information to suit each buyer, and this enables them to e-mail all the relevant information, and is certainly an improvement on the low-tech and un-environmentally friendly method of handing out whole piles of papers and blueprints. Wendy Marks Pine, of Cervera Real Estate and Sales Director at Marquis Residences says the app “allows for us to be more accessible to people overseas, to be accessible to a wider range of people, and the client notices how everything is personalized to fit just what they want. It makes them feel special.”
Marquis Residences offers luxury living for singles, families and couples. All units have high-end appliances, quality finishes and floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors enabling residents to enjoy the fantastic views of downtown Miami, Biscayne Bay and Miami Beach.
