Venango Trails, a Pittsburgh neighborhood in North Hills, has just announced having sold 17 of a total of 473 homes there. The development, located 20 minutes North of downtown, offers scenic lakes and Native American historic trails, among other features.
Model homes open at Venango Trails
The original Venango Trail used by Native Americans, traders, explorers and the military, has been preserved at Venango Trails along with natural features to set this new community apart from all others. An 88 acre forest preserve was donated to the Allegheny Land Trust to ensure the historic Venango Travel stays untouched for future generations. Located just minutes from the business districts of Cranberry and Wexford, the new development is also in an award winning school district.
Robin Randall, spokesperson of VT Partners, had this to say about the development:
"Venango Trails is the winning combination of serenity and beauty. It was important to create an environment that appeals to a broad audience. There are townhomes starting in the $220's, homes from the 320's and an exclusive estate section."
Just last month Venango Trails announced the completion of the Village Towne and Cottage Model Homes there (top image). Built to reflect the Craftsman & Neo-Colonial style, the homes at this development are reportedly wired with sustainable and energy saving materials.
Furthermore, Venango Trails is actually build "exactly" on to of an existing golf course, with the surrounding woods and natural features totally preserved in order to conserve. Other sustainable features highlight the development. Homes here start in the low $200,000s, according to the news.
