Engel & Völkers of East Greenwich announced today that Karen Roy, Cat Spender, and Skylar Santa Barbara have joined the brokerage’s growing team of real estate advisors.
Karen Roy is a multi-million-dollar producer, bringing a specialty in new construction and investment properties to this new role. She helped Stoneridge Preserve, a luxury, over 55 community, sell out all its condominiums when the subdivision was built in 2018. Karen also managed all the contractors, electricians, and plumbers to execute her clients’ design choices before closing. Karen received her real estate license in 2017 and she joins Engel & Völkers from eXp Realty. She is a member of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors. She is licensed in RI and MA.
Cat Spender brings more than 15 years of client service, management, and marketing experience to this new role. She is the Center Director of Heart + Paw’s pet care location in Warren, where she has spent more than a decade focused on strategic planning, advising, and communication. Cat received her real estate license in 2020 and she joins Engel & Völkers from Redfin. Cat specializes in assisting buyers who are relocating to Rhode Island or are looking to relocate in/out of state.

Skylar Santa Barbara specializes in new construction, as well as luxury/unique properties. She joins Engel & Völkers from Davitt Design Build, where she gained invaluable experience in the custom home building industry. Skylar brings an established network of home builders, designers, and architects to this new role, to help turn her clients’ vision of “home” into a reality. She holds a BBA in Business Administration, and Marketing from the University of Rhode Island and she received her real estate license in 2022. She is Lead Hazard Mitigation Certified and is a member of the American Marketing Association.
