If you think that pizzas and low-cost accommodations make a good combination, then Naples is the city for you! It is one of the largest cities in the country, right behind Rome and Milan. But it carries one unique attraction; the honor of creating the pizza! Yes, it was originally made here for the first time!

Plus, it is home to ancient buildings rich culture, and scrumptious food, ready to delight your tastebuds. What about the average cost of living in Naples? You can expect to spend $1400 on decent accommodation.

For people who are on a very small budget, Lecce would welcome you with open arms. It is one of the cheapest cities in the country but it is also one of the oldest. Existing for more than 2000 years, the city is home to an enriching culture and history.

If you love to decrypt the mysteries of the past and are enchanted by ancient art, this city will be a treat! Beautiful monuments, museums, and most of all, a beach within an hour of a drive awaits you at an average cost of $1398.

Wait, here is a bonus tip. If you go in the winters, you will find the prices even lowered than the average rate!

Padova is located around 40km from Venice. So, if you are looking for a cheaper Venice, this is your best bet!

The city holds a similar connection to Venice but it hosts a much smaller crowd of people. You can also include narrow streets and high bridges into this package to fit your aesthetic sense. Moreover, its lifestyle is quite average. You can find great apartments that can favor your fancy sense at good rates. So, yes! It offers a striking balance between lifestyle and affordability. However, the cost is calculated to be around $1195 approx.

Are you looking to live in an accommodation that will take your breath away? We don’t blame you because you shouldn’t expect any less from the popular tourist destination!

So, to cater to your wishes, we decided to put Benevento into the mix. This beautiful city is situated between tall mountains and the gushing sounds of the river. It is not that famous of a tourist destination either so your days will be far away from the hustle of the city. As for the average cost, your wallet will have to say goodbye to $1000 approx.

If Money Heist comes to your mind, we won’t judge you. But we will say this; the popularity of this city comes from more than just a TV show. Provided that you are adapted to city life, Palermo will enchant you considerably. Why? Because it offers proper city life with the buzz of the crowded streets and guaranteed rush on the lanes.

It does not quite carry any major historic monuments either. However, it is one of the cheapest cities coming at an average of $987. And it hosts a great transportation channel to carry you near the city for an eventful day in your life.

Are you traveling all the way to get a sneak peek of the sea? Your thirst for the beach thirst will quench with Bari. This beautiful city hosts a warm climate and a port nearby. So, you can expect breezy winds to welcome you every day.

However, it does not top the list of popular tourist destinations in Italy. You may find some tourists in the city trying to live on a small budget, but that is about it. The safety of the city was compromised in the past few years which now has been restored considerably. Plus, it is cheaper than the other options, providing an average cost of $1060.

To sum it all up, Italy is a great attraction for people all around the world. Whether you are a student, a freelancer, or a family looking for small budget accommodations, you can count on Italy. We sincerely hope that you find your perfect destination!
