Buying or selling a home is a very different transaction than typical consumers engage in. The laws regarding real estate change every year and vary from state to state. On average, people buy a new home every seven to ten years. A lot can and does change between those purchases. Real estate agents live in the industry every day to stay current with all the regulations, laws, contracts, and business practices. When you work with a real estate agent, they put all of that knowledge to work for you.
