Facebook Advertising What Realtors Should Consider

By Ben Shepardson | June 1, 2021

As of January 2021, Facebook was ranked as the top social media platform after surpassing 1 billion signed-in accounts. Currently, the online communication channel boasts of over 2.6 billion active monthly users. Besides taking the lead, Facebook boasts of owning WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger channels that enjoy over 1 billion users.

With these vast numbers, you’ll be confident that whatever business you do, you’ll meet your target audience on Facebook no matter the industry. Recording such a big fun-base, Facebook is, without doubt, more than an ideal basket to pick your business clients.

Maneuvering in this new advert channel is entirely dependent on your objectives and the design of ads you employ. Unlike other types of online advertising, Facebook is much cheaper, more effective, and ad statistics are typically measurable. With the amount of personal information held in their database, one can achieve an accurately targeted ad. The data stored by Facebook include gender, age, education, marital status, location, interests, politics, job title, among many others. These can be used as filters to obtain your desired audience, ensuring the people who see your Facebook ads are most likely to be your customers.

Some of the types of ads on Facebook include the following

  1. Video Ads

It is one of the many types of ads you can use to make advertisements on Facebook. Video ads allow you to showcase your products or services and hold the browser's attention in the feed. Videos of 15 seconds or less can keep your audience engaged while viewing your brand. Remember to incorporate a call to action at the end of the stream. It entices prospective buyers to make a move or visit a webpage.

  1. Image Ads

Image or photo ads are an excellent way to kick off your Facebook-paid advertising. Though simple to create, photo ads should not be boring. Images should offer a clear format for your product promotion. A study conducted on the Facebook advertisement shows that image-only ads outperformed others in generating unique leads. If you are running out of time or you have a low budget, an image ad is your best take. Post it on your page just as a boosted post.

  1. Poll Ads

A poll ad is a mobile-only type of Facebook ad format. It is a highly effective type for running several items or components at a go and in comparison. For instance, if you are selling pork and mutton, the poll format offers clients a chance to click on their preference. Both you and clients or respondents will see the polls on each option separately.

  1. Carousel Ads

The carousel ad format is a system that offers you a chance to put together up to a maximum of 10 videos or photos. Each of the images or pictures has its link that showcases the product, service, or brand. Also, you can use all photos or videos of the products you want to showcase and design a one collective panorama image. People visiting your page can reach all pictures or videos by swiping on their screen to each link.

Carousel ads are best used to offer a tutorial, create a more catchy and collective experience, and feature multiple products and services leading to different websites.

  1. Slideshow Ads

Slideshows are a simple method to create video ads from still photos, write-ups, or other short video clips. If you want a catchy motion that consumes less data, build a slideshow ad. It will even serve clients living in low connectivity zones. To add icing, join them with a piece of fantastic music from the ads manager.

Facebook platform is business-friendly and offers a relatively cheaper ad that can be highly targeted to your audience and allow your ads to reach beyond Facebook, allowing your business to gain more customers.
