There is always a large part of us that is protective of what we own. It might be because of our animal instinct taking over as we fight for our own territory. As humans, we do have histories of long conflicts just because of occupancy and territorial dispute. There have also been cases wherein lives were lost just because of a conflict of interest in properties. People have always thought that this was just the only way they could protect their property: through sheer force. It has always been for the past couple of millennia. It may have died down in the development of civilization; the urge to be protective still lingers with every generation. Learn more about our own aggressiveness by clicking here.

If this is the way people protect their belongings, how much more about their families? These are the people we really love the most, the ones who have been there since day one of our existence.
