The New Jersey Association of REALTORs (NJAR) has announced the winners of the annual REALTOR of the Year and REALTOR-ASSOCIATE of the Year. Each year, NJAR recognizes two of its members who have produced outstanding results in the real estate industry. This year, NJAR awarded Jonathan Kessler of Kuker & Kessler Real Estate the REALTOR of the Year award and Lorraine Piro-Colavito of Keller Williams Ellite the REALTOR-Associate of the Year award.
The awards are earned by exceptional real estate professionals who demonstrate industry excellence, a commitment to the REALTOR organization, and involvement in their local communities. Kessler, a real estate agent since age 18, has been a member of the REALTOR organization for 22 years. He is a member of the Franklin Township chamber of commerce and is frequently involved in community service endeavors. He also served as the president of the Franklin Park Fire Department and received the “Firefighter of the Year Award” and “Life Saving Award”.
Colavito has been a member of the NJAR Cultural Diversity Committee for four years and is a founding member of the Middlesex County Chapter of Women’s Council of REALTORs. She has participated in many community service activities, including assisting Hurricane Katrina victims and organizing fundraisers.
Representing 45,000 real estate professionals, the New Jersey Association of REALTORs is one of the biggest trade organizations in New Jersey. A REALTOR is a member of the National Association of REALTORS and is recognizable by the “R” logo on their business materials.
