Do you love skiing? Do you get tired of lugging around all of your ski equipment and riding ski lifts to get to the top of the slopes? Do you wish you could just wake up in the morning, stick on some skis and get to it? East West Partners seems to think many people will appreciate that convenience in its new Northstar California Resort ski-in/ski-out home communities currently under construction.
East West Partners revealed its plans to make the homes as accessible to the snow-top mountains overlooking Lake Tahoe as possible, complete with ski ways, bridges, and tunnels all carefully laid out for maximum skiing convenience. The two home communities, Home Run and The Glades were recently open for viewing by prospective buyers who took a tour to look at the properties.
Home Run is a 16 townhome community sitting directly below the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. Buyers can choose townhomes with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths or 4 bedrooms and 5 baths. All townhomes feature two-car garages and will be built to have Silver LEED Certification.
The Glades is a 25-home gated community that rests on the mountain above the Village at Northstar and near the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. The sizes of the properties range up to 1.42 acres. Two skiways will connect the community with Timberline lift and Northstar ski run.
Jim Telling, Partner, at East West Partners summed up the experience at Northstar. “Here, there is no lugging of family gear to lifts or waiting in lines: One can literally walk outside, step into skis and take off in one of the most beautiful resorts in North America.”
