For the investor or second home buyer out there with worldly aspirations, the oyster or Earth's property possibilities still contains many pearls. From Crete to Crimea and many an unsung paradise in between, here's 5 property buys looking for just the right investor in 2015.
If you've never visited the land of the ancient Minoans, Crete will astound those of you who revel in friendly places. Not only is Crete a wonderland of fabulously genuine people, but the island holds a special brand of nature meets cultural value. The new visitor always is stunned by the simple majesty of this place, and quite often the tourist ends up being the local. Some visitors, they never leave the island, you see. Investment wise, there are more "deals" on this island than any we've found so far.
Not far from the city center of Kissamos in the west, Euroland Crete has listed this fabulous plot of land. A bike ride or walk to the fabulous beaches nearby, an olive grove overlooks a spectacle fit for any sore eyes. I know, I've been exactly to this spot not a stone's throw from legendary Balos Lagoon (top image). The plot is 7000 square meters (about 1-73 acres) of gently sloping land with utilities and road access. 25 minutes from Chania to the east, this part of Crete is a wonderland of nature and quant village life.
Priced at €62,000 euro, I'm considering buying the plot myself actually. (seriously) The plot is just outside a small village, it's 56 kilometers from Chania's city center, 1 km from the nearest beach and shops. For those interested, Euroland Crete builds some of the finest custom villas on the island, and I've got friends who contract similarly. Please let me know.
Before the Sochi Olympics mainstream media in the west went on a tyrade, telling us of the gloom and doom that would follow the games. Interestingly, the only disaster of Sochi turned out to be the tilted reports of stray dogs and Russian mobsters. Trust me, I know a lot about what is really in Sochi, versus rumors of international detente battles. Our PR firm worked closely with officials and with independent photographers there in Krasnodarskiy Kray, and this part of Russia is booming even with the recent rouble instability. In fact, exchange rates will convert well in dollars, euros, and pounds buy more value there. One example, I found just querying real estate agencies I know of.
Situated in a private gated, guarded village, a recluse of villa homes is smack in the middle of an amazing wildlife area boasts of unique value. With dramatic panoramic views of the wilderness, the city, and the Black Sea, minutes from the snowcapped peaks that line this section of the Russian Riviera, this is a great investment property find. The project villa has 7 landscaped acres, with a list price 0f just over $730,000 dollars. Here is the layout of the model villa seen above:

A tourist haven since the Bronze Age, the largest of the Balearic Islands is Mallorca. Situated to the south and east of Spain, these islands are a picture-scape of natural beauty, with an ideal climate year round. Since before the Iron Age everyone who ever visited these specks of paradise in the south of Europe wanted a piece of them. The Romans, Phoenecians, then the Moors and later millionaires and Arch Dukes and Kings have sought a place in the Mediterranean sun here. For the investor today though, the fact property like one finds here never really loses value, it's a paramount reason to investigate. With a focus on the "finca" (small estate), here's one of many finds that may interest.
Historisches Anwesen aus dem 13. Jahrhundert in Alaro from Mallorca Finca on Vimeo.
An historic property known as Son Fuster is near the idyllic secluded village of Alaro. Access to this magnificent property of 54 acres is via a small paved residential street that leads to the country manor you see above. The main house dates back to the 13th Century, built to typically substantial Mallorca standards. The sprawling 1220 square meters of living space encompasses the main and guest house with a total of 8 bedrooms and 8 baths. Within this compound there's a carport with spaces for 8 cars, stables, and orchard, pool, and indoor and outdoor BBQ areas, just to mention some of the amenities. The video above shows the property off well.
Listed at €6.5 million euro, this "one of" estate on Mallorca is certain to gain value. For those interested, you may contact Mallorca Finca via phone at +34 971 394 510 or by Email at [email protected].
Despite all rumors to the contrary, Dubai continues to boom. The most populous city in the United Arab Emirates, a veritable oasis paradise, Dubai is a living, breathing work of architectural art. Having just been awarded the World Expo 2020 for its bid, the city is a transformative landscape on the Persian Gulf. From an investment standpoint, house and property prices in Dubai have shown predicted value increases of from 35 to 40% or more. While these estimates seem a bit high, in 2013 alone house prices went up by 20%, so the lesser potential seems a realistic projection. Also, according to the Dubai Land Department, Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, by the end of may 2014 some 26.650 real estate transactions will be conducted with a total investment value of some €20 billion plus euros. Amid this money landscape, Mohammed Bin Rashid City and new projects such as "Dubai Hills," they bear special scrutiny.
With a more finite focus in mind, looking at developments like Mulberry Park Heights diversified luxury possibility.
