Last week, Colliers International announced opened applications for the 2019 Colliers Proptech Accelerator Powered by Techstars. The tech-assist program is partly focused on strategic innovation and directed investments for delivering deliver smarter, more personalized services that make a difference for clients.
Colliers successfully completed its first class in 2018, with companies representing solutions across the real estate value chain such as commercial datasets for occupiers and investors; office services and tenant engagement; big data, analytics and artificial intelligence; space as a service; marketplaces and space utilization; and, Smart City and Internet of Things.
These companies worked for three months with over 150 mentors from Colliers and wider industry before a demo day presentations to 600 Colliers people, clients, industry professionals and technology investors. Dylan Taylor, CEO Colliers Real Estate Service, had this to say about the program:
