Hip hop stars Beyonce and Jay-Z are probably going to be spending lots more quality time at the beach, after snapping up a new luxury mansion in East Hampton, New York for an eye-watering $26 million.
The music moguls' new home comes with an expensive price tag, but the celebrity couple will surely be pleased with their new slice of luxury real estate, which encompasses a massive 12,000 square feet and comes with seven bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms, according to Trulia. In addition, the estate comes with a separate 1,800 square feet guest house for their friends to crash whenever visiting. The property also comes with access to Georgica Pond, and is within walking distance of a beautiful 17 acre meadow preserve, so we can assume Beyonce and Jay-Z will be enjoying their time in the great outdoors.
Interestingly this isn't the first time the couple have shelled out multiple millions of dollars on real estate this year. Earlier reports said the couple finally completed their three-year search for a home in August, when they bought a 30,000 square foot property in the luxury West Coast of Bel Air in Los Angeles, which will be their main home. The couple snapped up that home for an incredible $88 million, the most expensive real estate deal in L.A. so far this year.
Of course, Beyonce and Jay-Z can certainly afford to splash out. According to a Forbes report from last May, the pair's two fortunes combined make them a billionaire couple, with Beyonce's net worth established at $350 million, and Jay-Z's a staggering $810 million.
