Hollywood's highest-paid actress Cameron Diaz is listing her luxury two-bedroom Manhattan apartment for a cool $4.25 million.

Warburg Realty describes the listing as “a jewel box” featuring a modern design based on old Hollywood-style glamour.

Diaz bought the property back in 2008 for $2.95 million, before hiring the acclaimed interior designer Kelly Wearstler to carry out major renovations, The Wall Street Journal reported. Wearstler incorporated a 'gold and glass theme' with custom-made fixtures within the 1,400 square feet apartment, to suit the tastes of its new Hollywood A-list owner.

Entering the apartment, guests are greeted by an oversized foyer with a 14-foot long onyx plaster closet. The foyer leads into a dining room sporting vintage light fixtures and mirrors.

The living room is decorated with antique rose gold wallpaper, while large windows bask the room in natural sunlight, with the ceiling and its architectural beams adding a touch of sophistication. There's also a classic wood-burning fireplace to warm up those cold winter nights.

Meanwhile the gold-accented kitchen sports an emerald green finish, together with brass back splash, countertops and sink fittings. Diaz clearly has a taste for cooking, because the kitchen is fitted with high-end appliances including Viking range and hood, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and inbuilt water filtration system.

Without a doubt, the highlight of this luxury bachellorette pad is the master suite, where walls are covered with handmade wallpaper in ivory to give off a warm and chic ambiance. A golden metal frame encases the king-sized bed, while hand-stenciled designs accentuate the ceiling.

Rebecca Edwarson, the listing agent, notes that the furnishings aren't included at the $4.25 million asking price, but Ms Diaz is willing to negotiate if any potential buyer wishes to keep them.
