The Laurel Road Estate is just one hour away from New York City. Set on a secluded and tranquil estate, the property was originally listed for $12.5 million, with the sale being conducted in cooperation with listing agent Darlene Letersky of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

Letersky said:

"The owner's decision to sell absolute creates a tremendous opportunity for prospective buyers to own one of Fairfield County's most premier estates. This is an unbelievable property with unrivalled amenities in one of the North East's most exclusive neighbourhoods, and we are excited to work with Concierge to identify its new owner on Auction Day."

The estate includes a Williamsburg colonial style residence which has been fully renovated in the style of a refined country house. The 16 room home has exquisite detailing and amenities. The grand stone entryway opens up into a formal living room with fireplace, elegant dining room and a gourmet kitchen. There is also a family room, a paneled library and a games room. The house has seven en suite bedrooms and includes a first floor master wing with fireplace, his and hers baths and private office. Several of the rooms have patios and terraces, and the oversize windows give unrivalled views of the countryside.

The grounds include a free-form pool, spa, cabana, waterfall and multiple stone terraces. There is also a newly built 14 room "Fieldhouse" which is a $7 million sports and entertainment retreat. This has a professional cinema seating up to 30 viewers, a full swing golf electronic indoor golf course and a games room which features a wraparound bar, bowling alley and indoor basketball court which can transition into a personal indoor auditorium. The 10,000 ft.² building also includes a full kitchen, three bedrooms, baths and grand living and dining spaces. There is a separate cottage guesthouse which offers flexible living arrangements. This massive compound is affectionately named "The Gathering Place."

Interested bidders can participate in person or by proxy via the telephone or Internet. For more information visit LaurelRoadAuction.com.
