Future Homes what to expect with changing Technology

By Mike Wheatley | June 8, 2016

If you think that we are dozens of years away from futuristic homes and living, think again! Many of the technologies we use today were only thought of and manufactured over the past few years and many more are on the way that seem “too impossible.”

The Future In The Bedroom

This bed is still a concept, meaning it’s not in development just yet, but there are many ideas, pictures and features swirling around the bed. It’s called a Hi Can Bed and it can do some amazing things such as dropping blinds on all sides of the bed for ultra-darkness. It can also connect to multimedia speakers, has full wifi to all of the other Wifi devices in your home and has a built in PC. Essentially this is the bed for the future because it has everything you would need.

Amazing Mini Washing Machine

Don’t have room for a giant washing machine? No problem! This mini washing machine can do everything a regular machine can, but its a smaller one. This is also… portable. WOW! Imagine all those times you need a washing machine and don’t have room for one? I can think of about 10 different situations right off the top of my head. This washing machine, is also going to be more Eco friendly designed. It can be charged, but its also got a built in solar panel so that it can be charged by the sun as well. This is also going to be quite useful to countries that cant use as much water or don’t have access to lots of water.

Digital Cutting Board For The Kitchen and Molecular Device

This is really cool. Its not just a cutting board, its also a digital scale, and its touch screen. Another option in the kitchen is this device called the Mo Sphere, its a molecular cooking device that can do all sorts of cool cooking techniques, such as taking frozen foods and turning them into jellies and foams. Its going to revolutionize how people make molecular gastronomy type foods. It used to be all about science and getting it perfectly right, but with this machine anyone can do it.

Bathroom – Numi Toilet

This is a toilet with a few different cool features such as a touch screen interface built right into the toilet, as well as built in speakers and it can connect to an array of blue tooth devices. This means you will be able to listen to podcast, watch Netflix from your TV or even listen to music, all while on the pot. It also has a heated seat, it comes in an array of colors, its easy to use and there are even heats below, for your feet. This might seem dumb to some people, but you might be surprised as to how many people would buy something like this in the future when its finally available. Its without a doubt going to be a toilet that will be in most smart homes. The biggest issue with devices like this is the simple fact that we dont know how much they are going to cost. But, hopefully the people that make them will make it cost effective so that everyone, not just the privileged can enjoy them.

These are all going to be available in the very near future. If you want to check out these options, as well as futuristic homes than you will definitely want to check out these smart home technologies that can help you build a forward friendly, future smart home.
