Metrocentre Corporate Park is an office complex located in West Palm Beach's 45th Street corridor, close to Interstate 95. CREC is one of Florida's largest commercial real estate services firms, and the Senior Vice President and Shareholder Steven Hurwitz, will be working with newly appointed Palm Beach leasing specialist, Darla Hall.

Darla Hall has nearly a decade of commercial leasing experience and will not only be overseeing leasing at Metrocentre Corporate Park but also two other office properties in CREC’s Palm Beach County portfolio which are the 64,000 ft.² Horizon Office Centre, and the 113,000 ft.² Mellon United National Bank Building.

CREC’s move into Palm Beach County comes as the firm is focusing on statewide growth. CREC President and Co-founder, Carol Brooks had this to say about these announcements: "With economic volatility easing across Florida, the real estate market beginning to rebound, and companies looking for opportunities to expand their presence here, we're taking steps to position CREC’s core service lines for steady growth in key markets. Palm Beach County has long been considered one of Florida's most attractive real estate markets."

Metrocentre Corporate Park consists of six single-storey office buildings which are in the early stages of an improvement program that is part of the assets overall repositioning under new ownership. CREC will be overseeing the site upgrades and ongoing operations, as the complex is currently 60% occupied.

Steven Hurwitz believes that GE Capital’s committed ownership of a Metrocentre is important in ensuring the complex's viability as a preferred leasing option and says "More and more, we're seeing office tenants locating and properties that are held by established, well capitalised owners. GE Capital has shown it is committed to improving Metrocentre Corporate Park, and large scale upgrades are already underway." He also points out the excellent location should help ensure long-term leasing success.

CREC was founded in 1989 by Chairman Warren Weiser and President Carol Brooks, and is one of the largest commercial real estate firms in Florida, managing a portfolio of office, retail and multi-family properties totalling nearly 12,000,000 ft.².
