“Mobile-first” real estate search platform HomeSpotter is hoping to lend a helping hand to real estate agents out in the field by providing access to protected areas of the MLS in its software platform simply by entering a PIN code or scanning their fingerprint.
Aaron Kardell, founder and CEO of HomeSpotter, said the new functionality was in line with the company's goal of being at the forefront of innovation in real estate technology.
“We were the first to broadly popularize innovations like augmented reality and the concept of deep MLS access from a mobile app,” Kardell explained. “We are excited to innovate in the area of secure access balancing MLS needs for security and data protection and agents desire to have quick access on the go.”
In addition to the new fingerprint and PIN ID security, HomeSpotter now also supports deeper integration with the Black Knight Financial Services Paragon MLS system. Black Knight's MLS system is one of the most popular among real estate professionals, and the integration means agents can quickly make edits and upload photos to their listings via HomeSpotter, while they're on the go. In addition, agents can now access all of their saved searches, contracts and carts using HomeSpotter.
HomeSpotter also provides powerful search tools along with private, 'agent-only' MLS information, as well as a variety of collaborative capabilities such as inbuilt messaging. HomeSpotter is also compatible with other MLS systems like FBS Flexmls, CoreLogic and Matrix.
