iHomeRegistry App Simplifies Home Decorating and Furnishing

By Allison Halliday | April 20, 2016

iHomeRegistry is a recently launched web application that simplifies the home decorating and home furnishing process for homeowners. Its online application provides new and current homeowners, as well as future homeowners with fully customized capabilities in furnishing and decorating their home.

Using this application, people are able to create a personal registry of desired home goods that can be organised by room. They can design a 3-D floor plan to experiment with different mockups, helping them to visualize the look and feel of each room in their home. The application allows users to explore the work of professional interior designers and to save the designs they like, and to contact an interior designer for a professional consultation.

Patrick Daniels, President and founder of iHomeRegistry said “Furnishing your home can be a really exciting task, but it can also be overwhelming when trying to find products and designs that not only reflect your taste, but fit within your budget. We created iHomeRegistry to help homeowners explore and organise their options, compare models and prices, and visualize possibilities for each room in their home before having to commit to a purchase.”

The idea of the application is to provide homeowners with all the tools they need, enabling them to furnish their home both economically and tastefully. The platform features and easy to navigate and well-organized user-friendly layout for a seamless experience. It’s possible to customize registries by bookmarking a product from any online home furnishing store, or photos of a product can be uploaded from a phone or desktop. Users can categorize and keep notes and prices on the items in the registry. iHomeRegistry allows users to convert floorplans into 3-D renderings, enabling them to visualize more clearly how certain furniture and decor will appear in their home.

The application includes furnishing and design inspiration on a design trends page which showcases popular and practical design ideas and styles for all rooms in the home. If homeowners see a design they particularly like it can be saved to the registry or they can contact the interior designer responsible for a professional consultation. Interior designers interested in showcasing their work on iHomeRegistry should contact the company.
