Superstar singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, following on from her recent split from hubby Marc Anthony, has gone out a snapped up a stunning luxury home in an exclusive area of the Hamptons in New York.
J-Lo’s gorgeous new home, just built in 2010 and weighing in at 14,000 square feet of luxurious living, comes complete with 7 bedrooms, 9 and a half bathrooms and breathtaking panoramic views.
Although the Water Mill home comes with a hefty $18 million price tag, the property easily falls within her price range following the recent revelation that she has signed a new $20 million deal with American Idol to return to our screens on the judge’s panel.
42-year old Lopez recently admitted that leaving husband Marc was one of the “hardest decisions” she’s ever had to make, and the decision to buy a new home is a sure sign she sees the split as being permanent, saying:
"Sometimes it doesn't work - and that's sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love. It's still my biggest dream."
