The critically acclaimed actress recently moved into a duplex formerly owned by Leonard Bernstein just across from Carnegie Hall, and has now decided to become a landlord by renting out her old Greenwich Village shack, Zillow reports.
Located just a couple of blocks from Washington Square Park, Chastain's two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is fully furnished and comes with a 65-inch flat-screen TV, so it's just about ready to move in. According to the listing agent, all you'll need to bring is a toothbrush and your clothes.
The fully renovated apartment features an extravagantly appointed master bath, complete with a full-length soaking tub, well deserving any savior of humanity.
According to the listing, the luxurious ground floor comes with high ceilings and an open chef's kitchen that features high-end appliances, while the living room comes with its own wood-burning fireplace.
At the top of the wide circular staircase we're greeted by a skylit landing, with a master bedroom offering a delightful view of the city, a private dressing area and a cedar walk-in closet.
Chastain's listing comes less than two weeks before her next feature film, “The Martian”, in which she stars with Matt Damon, is set to hit the big screen.
