Online real estate transaction platform Settled has announced the appointment of Marc Abraham as Chief Product Officer and Simon Guild as Non-Executive Director. Marc and Simon join the team to strengthen Settled’s efforts as the company enters its next stage of product development.
As Chief Product Officer at Settled, Marc will oversee the planning, development and delivery of future features on the platform. He will also work closely with the technology and customer experience teams to shape the future product roadmap for the business. He joins Settled after an extensive career in product management, having worked on a range of successful digital products and services at companies including 7digital, carwow, YouView and notonthehighstreet.com. Most recently, Marc was Head of Product at international money transfer business World First where he led the development of products and services.
Simon Guild, former CEO of MTV Networks Europe joins Settled as Non-Executive Director. Simon works with a wide portfolio of European technology businesses helping them scale and become international market leaders. His previous experience includes chairing rental property startup Rentify and German games business Bigpoint. Current Board roles include the language learning business, Babbel and Dutch recruitment tech company, Vonq. He brings significant operational and strategic expertise to Settled, including an excellent understanding of running early stage startup businesses.
The appointments follow the company’s visual rebrand announced earlier in November, which articulated Settled’s vision of a calmer, more streamlined home moving process. More recently, the company also announced a new Strengthen and Secure feature on its platform that's designed to help buyers and sellers reach completion faster and with a greater sense of security.
