Realtors can now access property data from the Lockbox

By Mike Wheatley | August 17, 2016

Certified realtors can now enjoy instant access to highly detailed and time sensitive information directly from the lockbox on their smartphone, following a new deal announced between the Realtors Property Resource and SentriLock. The agreement means realtors can access RPR data directly via the SentriSmart app.

“This integration will allow realtors to present their clients with on-the-spot RPR data and reports about specific properties and neighborhoods,” Tom Salomone, president of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), said in a statement to Realtor Mag. “Realtors are the most trusted resource for local market real estate information and with this new integration they will also be the fastest source for property information.”

The Realtors Property Resource is the country’s largest online real estate database, operated as a subsidiary of the NAR. It’s packed with a wealth of data on residential and commercial properties, as well as vacant land that lies across the entire nation. Meanwhile SentriLock, which is also a subsidiary of the NAR, currently has over one million lockboxes in use.

Having access to such a vast wealth of data at their fingertips should prove to be extremely useful for many realtors, allowing them to provide accurate answers to their client’s questions and also point out anything they feel the client needs to know.

“Realtors using SentriSmart and RPR can now instantly download and view real time property data via SentriSmart through the RPR integration,” explained Scott Richardwon, SentriLock’s chief operating officer. “We feel this tool will give realtors the advanced technology and data that they need during property showings, all at their fingertips.”

The RPR partnership with SentriLock comes in the wake of a similar partnership between zipLogix and DocuSign, wherein auto-formatting features for realtors are now available on both platforms.
