Marketing platform provider Skyword has launched a new version of its content marketing platform. Called Skyword Analytics + GA, the new integration combines the power of Google Analytics with the unique storytelling metrics of Skyword's platform, giving users a holistic view of the “health” of their online content, enabling them to better optimize the stories they post online.

Skyword notes that it's extremely difficult to measure the value of content published online. Doing so requires a broad scope of metrics from a variety of disparate analytics and publishing platforms, from where it's possible to understand the impact content is having on your business.

That's where Skyword Analytics + GA comes in, because it's able to give users a simplified overview of their content's performance through a combination of channel, engagement, goal conversion and referral metrics via Google, combined with the storyteller performance data from its own platform.

Using the platform, content producers including real estate professionals will be able to get a much better understanding of the impact their content is having on their audience thanks to its ability to measure readership, lead generation, revenue attribution and subscriber growth.

Compared to traditional reporting, which usually consists of just page-level metrics, Skyword's new platform offers reporting based on pre-determined conversion goals, meaning that marketers can determine who are the most effective contributors when it comes to engaging with and driving calls to action.

"Analyzing the success and impact of brand storytelling programs requires an extensive, layered set of data points," said Tom Gerace, CEO and founder of Skyword. "Brands need a full view of the audience's experience through the scope of stories consumed–only then will marketers succeed in creating stories that motivate audiences to take action."
