Toni Nelson, director of strategic initiatives for Houston-based Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors, has just returned from the Prudential Real Estate Services Marketing Forum which was held October 18-21st in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay resort.

Nelson discussed mobile marketing strategies at the conference which was attended by Prudential marketing directors from around the country. She emphasised the importance of mobile technology and pointed out analysts are predicting that by 2013, mobile phones will overtake computers as the most popular way for accessing information saying "In real estate, this means we have to follow our buyers and be where they are looking, 62% of home buyers are under 45 years old and use mobiles." She pointed out that numerous apps are currently under development and an estimated 25 billion apps are expected to be downloaded by 2015.

In August Nelson oversaw the launch of Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors free app, Houston Homes for Sale. This app already has 1,200 users, has seen over 7,000 searches and generated 115 lead calls. She went on to say "We anticipate this number to grow as the app is utilized by individual agents and shared with consumers during open houses and in everyday conversations with their spheres of influence when the app serves as a quick reference to properties in the greater Houston area."

Houston Homes for Sale at is available in all app stores and at www.GaryGreene.com. More information about Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors can be found by visiting their website.
