Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty proudly welcomes Sharon Scheidemantle as its newest Commercial Regional Manager.

Sharon is a California University of Pennsylvania alum where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Arts Education. Additionally, she attended LaRoche College where she received a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management. Sharon began her career teaching Architectural Drafting and Design at Triangle Technical Institute. She then went on to serve as a Construction Project Manager for Long John Silvers, American Eagle Outfitters and National Record Mart. Her role was to supervise site development and “open store” remodeling throughout the United States.
Today, Sharon is a licensed Pennsylvania Broker. Over the years, Sharon has assisted hundreds of commercial real estate clients. Her extensive knowledge, upbeat personality and dedication has made her one of the most well-known and respected commercial real estate brokers in the area.
Sharon is a board member of the Friends of Pine Community Parks and the Rich-Mar Rotary. In the past, she has served as President of the Women’s Council for the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and is a charter member of the Pittsburgh Women in Commercial Real Estate (the precursor to Commercial Real Estate Women - CREW).
