RE Console launches Facebook-style intelligence feed for real estate investors

By Mike Wheatley | February 9, 2016

Knowledge is everything for real estate investors, who need to keep up to the minute with all the latest market activity in order to realize their investment's true potential.

RE Console

With that in mind, RE Console announced the launch of its new “personalized intelligence feed” earlier this month, with the goal of shaking up the real estate investment industry by providing an innovative, automated research tool.

RE Console can be thought of as a kind of Facebook feed for real estate investors, providing them with real-time intelligence, news and data on a range of local markets. The platform is powered by machine learning technology which means it's able to 'learn' about each individual investor and what they're looking for, providing the most relevant data they need to aid their investment decisions. Each market's data is modeled as a “micro-network”, structured as interconnected relationships that reveal how every property, person and market is related. The idea is to highlight how market changes ripple through the industry and come to have a domino-like affect on markets and opportunities elsewhere.

The platform allows users to closely monitor the market they're most interested in, investigate compelling opportunities and keep notes on various properties, all in one easy to use place.

Xavier Cossard, co-founder and CEO of RE Console, explained that the platform is looking to establish itself as the “go-to” tool for real estate investors, whose options are constantly expanding with the explosive growth of crowdfuncing and shared economy services.

“The real estate industry is in dire need of a technological shake-up. Most professionals are still using the same tools their predecessors were 20 years ago,” Cossard explained. “We use machine learning to classify each user so we know what’s interesting to them and can surface those unknown opportunities in real-time through our personalized notifications feed.”

For now, RE Console is only available in beta for investors in the South Florida region. The Beta version has search and management of proprietary content with the feed coming soon.

RE Console was incubated at Rokk3r Labs, a global platform for co-building companies.

“RE Console creates immediate, immense disruption to solve a key issue for real estate brokers and investors,” said Nabyl Charania, CEO of Rokk3r Labs. “The founders understand the traditional machinations and are creating the future vision of this by leveraging accelerating technologies like machine learning to elevate the entire industry.”
